New York's attorney general and federal authorities have announced nearly $500,000 in settlements to resolve labor violations by owners connected to nine Papa John's franchises in New York City boroughs. More than 250 workers employed at selected Papa John's restaurants in neighborhood stores in Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx will receive back wages stemming from violations of wage and hour laws, including overtime, minimum wage and other legal protections, Schneiderman's office said in a release.
